The last day of driving from Joshua Tree was pretty uneventful, and Joshua Tree was pretty mind blowing. It kind of sneaks up on you. The road into it is long and winds through very barren country until you come upon huge, massive rock formations that rise out of an otherwise uneventful plane.
They are not only amazing to look at, but they have become some of the best rocks I have ever climbed. The feel of the rocks is just incredible. I am definitely going back for a rock climbing extravaganza.
Looking back on the trip now that I'm home, I am not really sure what to say. It was definitely the best time of my life so far, and I would do it again in a heart beat. It's too bad that those statements don't quite cover it all for me. It had a whole deeper meaning that is hard to express.
Now I am trying to decide if I should keep this website going for all my travels......
