Well, it's been a while....internet was not exactly easily sought out... anyways.... since it has been so long, there are a lot more pictures up in the gallery so check em out.
After our tour of New York City we headed out to upstate new york to meet up with jack legget in Chestertown. We drove into town and quickly came upon two people on bikes, as we passed, we realized it was Jack and Sarah Beth (a fellow couch surfer and help exchanger who was staying with jack) We slowed down and met Jack and Sarah for the first time. Then, Jack opened the sliding door of the bus and hitched back to the house on his bike... the fun had only just begun.
There is really too much to say, but it was awesome. We climbed crags up in Keene Canyon, and swam in local swimming holes (cold). We ate great food from Jacks awesome farm and hung out with great people. Jack's farm is a whole nother topic of cool. I suppose it can be summed up with jack's motto of "DIY" (do it yourself). He can make anything from anything.
There really is too much to say and I forgot a ton and I am sure Danielle will catch what I left out.

He entertained us with rock climbing, lake swimming, scrabble, etc. Jack is also a pretty good cook: rhubarb pie, sourdough bread, pasta, banana chocolate pancakes, french-ish toast... Great food. We woke up to fun music every morning, too. Yesterday we did a day trip into Vermont with Jack in Leif to see the Ben & Jerry's headquarters and ended up driving through a ton of rain and playing frisbee on the ferry dock: Jack has some pretty quick reaction times, saving the frisbee from the lake on more than one occasion. Hmm.... what else..? The horn! Apparently while Igor and I were sleeping in the bus, Leif spoke for the first time since Sam adopted him! But then he hasn't said anything since. I think that's about it... we'll try to ke
